摘要: We determined salt tolerance of 'Zhanhuadongzao', 'No. 1 Shankang', 'Bianhesuan' and 'Qiyuexian' cultivars of jujube at four levels of soil salinity (i.e., 0, 0.3, 0.45 and 0.60%). For each of three replicates, we assigned 10 trees of each cultivar to each NaCl treatment. We measured salt injury, MDA concentration, cell membrane permeability, soluble protein concentration, and proline concentration in fresh leaf cuttings at 10 days post-treatment. Our results showed increasing leaf injury, MDA concentration, cell membrane permeability, soluble protein concentration, and proline concentration with increasing levels of soil salinity. We documented differences in salt tolerance among these jujube cultivars, with 'Qiyuexian' being the most tolerant and 'Zhanhuadongzao' being the least tolerant.
