摘要： Rice in flo r escence i s one o f the m ajor organs in de te rmin ing g rain yield . The gen etic and molecular regulation on rice in florescence architecture has been well investigated over the p ast years. In the present r eview, we describe d genes regulating ri ce inflorescen ce a rchitecture based o n th eir r oles in m eristem activity maintenance, meristem identity conversion and branch elongation. We also in tro duced the e merging r egulatory p athw ays of ph ytoho rmon es involved in rice in flores ce nce deve lo pment. T hes e studie s show th e intricacies an d c hall enge s of manipu lating inflores ce nce architecture fo r rice yie ld i mpro ve me nt.
