摘要: High-solid anaerobic digestion (HS-AD) is the main trend of anaerobic digestion; however, it presents limited methane conversion efficiency. This study investigated nine different substrate-to-inoculum ratios (S/I) in order to reveal the supply-demand balance within the HS-AD system. Our purpose is to explore the mechanism governing this balance of materials and microbes. The findings indicated that S/I ratios of 1.36–2.73 resulted in significant biogas production, yielding 282.54 L/kg VS and 287.36 L/kg VS respectively. However, an S/I ratio of 2.73 fostered a more stable and economically viable outcome in engineering simulations. Furthermore, the cooperation interaction among Bathyarchaeia, Hydrogenophaga and Methanolinea was found to enhance biogas production, while the synergy between Methanosarcina and Syner-01 was crucial for improving the stability of the HS-AD system. Consequently, at high solid content, an S/I of 2.73 proved more effective in balancing hydrolysis-acidification and methanogenesis, optimizing energy efficiency. These results offer novel insights into HS-AD feed management and contribute to the advantage of engineering applications.
